Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Junior Environmental Engineer to support the design, execution, and management of STP, ETP, and biogas plant projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of environmental engineering principles, regulatory compliance, and wastewater treatment processes, along with a willingness to travel for site visits and project monitoring.

Key Responsibilities1. Design & Development

• Assist in the design of STPs, ETPs, and biogas plants as per client requirements and environmental regulations.
• Prepare engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications for treatment plants.
• Support in process calculations and system optimization.

2. Construction & Commissioning

• Oversee construction and commissioning activities at project sites.
• Coordinate with site engineers and contractors to ensure timely project execution.
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical assistance during installation and startup phases.

3. Waste Management Solutions

• Develop waste management strategies in accordance with PCB rules and environmental regulations.
• Conduct waste audits and analyze waste streams.
• Recommend sustainable solutions for waste reduction and resource recovery.

4. Client Coordination

• Interact with clients to understand technical requirements and provide engineering support.
• Prepare detailed technical proposals, project timelines, and cost estimates.
• Address client queries and provide regular project updates.

5. Site Visits & Reporting

• Conduct site visits as required for project monitoring.
• Prepare detailed site reports and share updates with clients and management.
• Identify potential project challenges and suggest corrective measures.

6. Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations.
• Stay updated with PCB guidelines, waste management rules, and sustainability standards.
• Assist in obtaining required permits and approvals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• M.Tech in Environmental Engineering (Preferred).
• Strong understanding of STP, ETP, and biogas plant design and operations.
• Knowledge of PCB regulations and environmental compliance.
• Good project management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation and proposals.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and project supervision.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to commute to or relocate to Kochi, Kerala (Preferred).
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
