Job Overview

Utopian Takeoffs LLC is hiring a Junior Civil Estimation Engineer to support US-based construction projects. The role involves preparing accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for civil and structural works.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret US construction drawings (architectural & structural plans)
• Perform quantity takeoffs for concrete, steel, excavation, finishing, and other civil works
• Prepare cost estimates using Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and Excel
• Review project specifications, BOQs, and scope of work
• Coordinate with senior estimators to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Requirements

• 6 months – 1 year experience in civil estimation (required)
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and civil work processes
• Familiarity with US construction standards (preferred)
• Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, or Excel
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
