eJyothi Services, a subsidiary of U.S. based company – Aptin LLC, provides Information Technology and Business Operations support to its various U.S. clients. We are hiring Junior Financial Analyst to provide Financial & Accounting support services for our U.S. clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting duties and maintain accounting systems, primarily, QuickBooks.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice generation based on contract terms and requirements, receipt reconciliation, receipts accounting, receipts update in ancillary systems, and reporting of aged receivables.
  • Manage Accounts Payable processes, including invoice verification against the contract terms and requirements, sending acknowledgement, payment advise preparation, tracking payment scheduling, and reconciliation of vendor statements.
  • Coordinate payroll preparation using timesheet data and perform related accounting tasks
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, verifying transactions and ensuring consistency across internal ledgers and bank records.
  • Support in the preparation of cashflow forecasting, financial planning & forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Follow through client requests in a timely fashion and manage expectations regarding the timing and quality of deliverables and reports.
  • Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs.
  • Update and maintain finance/accounting artifacts on SharePoint and other systems as required.
  • Prepare and maintain Monthly Status Reports or Yearly financial related reports.
  • Perform administrative support functions for the team.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge in Accounting and Financial management processes
  • Strong Quantitative, Financial and Analytical skills
  • Have a great eye for details and zero tolerance attitude for errors
  • Experience with computerized accounting packages, preferably QuickBooks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially with Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiar with Microsoft SharePoint and Web based applications.
  • Good English communication skills (verbal and written)

Education

  • Graduate or post-graduate with finance/accounting background with excellent academic scores

Experience

  • 2-5 years with relevant experience preferred.
