We are expanding our team and are now looking for a motivated and dedicated Junior GIS-Expert / Data Expert to join us on this mission.

Your Mission

As a Junior GIS-Expert / Data Expert, you will support our GIS and data teams in preparing, analyzing, and presenting spatial data. You will gain hands-on experience in state-of-the-art GIS tools and contribute to projects that help improve EUTECH’s visibility, performance, and overall impact.

Your Daily Tasks

• Support in preprocessing, data preparation, and data conversion in leading GIS software (Q-GIS, ArcGIS, FME).

• Assist in the creation of maps, map series, and visual presentations (reports, tables, charts).

• Contribute to the design and layout of professional GIS outputs.

• Support in building and maintaining GIS databases.

• Learn to create static and dynamic maps using modern GIS packages.

• Assist in performing spatial analyses under the guidance of senior experts.

• Use and gradually improve basic scripting skills (Python, etc.) to automate and optimize GIS workflows.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Degree or current studies in Environmental Engineering, Geoinformatics, Geography, Data Science, or a related field.

• Technical skills: Basic knowledge of GIS tools (Q-GIS, ArcGIS, FME) and willingness to learn.

• Programming: Initial experience with Python or interest in learning scripting for GIS applications.

• Mindset: Curiosity, accuracy, and motivation to work on international projects.

• Languages: Good command of English (written and spoken). Additional European languages are a plus.

• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural, fully remote team.
