Junior Graphic Designer

Banzai is on a mission to become the comprehensive life and financial literacy learning platform by teaching the value of a dollar for all stages of life.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our marketing team. This role is suited for recent graduates as well as early-career designers who are ready to jump in and contribute right away! As the junior graphic designer you’ll join a talented and excited marketing team tasked with elevating Banzai’s brand. If you live and breathe in Adobe Creative Cloud and can navigate Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop with your eyes closed then this role is for you! Your creative juices will help us bake new and impactful visuals and branding in every aspect of our business.

What You’ll Do/Responsibilities:

• Create and design marketing assets from concept to completion
• Assist with all graphic design efforts of the marketing team including:
• Design support for the Lead Marketing Designer
• Design support for the Social Media Marketing Manager
• Design support for the Email Marketing Manager
• Cross-team design support with the Education, Partner Relations, Sales and Product teams
• Ensure final assets are visually appealing and on brand
• Work with copywriters and marketing manager to produce both digital and printed assets
• Brainstorm and strategize new ways to execute designs

You will help us create:

• Printed Materials
• Compelling Images/Banners/Assets
• Impactful Videos
• Social Media Posts and more!

Qualifications/What You Bring to the Table:

• BA degree in graphic design or related major
• 1-2 years experience in graphic design
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Indesign, Illustrator etc, and video editing software experience is a plus
• Knowledge of typography principles
• Understanding of design theory
• Experience with digital and print design
• Desire for production work
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Creative and self-reliant with an eagerness to learn
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with social media post/video
• Experience with Canva and Figma is a plus!
• Attach/Send Portfolio
• Available to work in-office minimum of 3 days per week
