Junior Hard Surface Vehicle Artist - Games/Simulators
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality 3D vehicle models (trucks, heavy machinery, and related automotive assets) with attention to realism and detail.
- Work closely with the lead artist and designers to ensure vehicle models match the artistic vision and technical specifications.
- Optimize vehicle assets for in-game performance while maintaining visual fidelity.
- Collaborate on rigging preparation and asset integration for seamless use in the game engine.
- Address feedback from leads and iterate on assets to meet project standards.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Blender preferred).
- Knowledge of PBR texturing
- Understanding of game engine workflows, preferably Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Strong eye for detail, proportion, and mechanical design.
- A portfolio showcasing hard surface modeling, particularly vehicles or mechanical assets.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Blender.
- Passion for hardsurface assets, vehicles, or simulation projects.
- Familiarity with procedural modeling techniques or plugins.1
- Experience with optimization techniques for real-time rendering.
