Junior HSE Officer

Role Objective

We are looking for a vigilant and proactive Junior HSE Officer to join our team. You will assist in maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring that all site operations comply with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Assist in performing risk assessments and implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct Toolbox Talks (TBT) and safety inductions for site workers.
• Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain safety equipment logs.
• Assist in investigating incidents or "near misses" and preparing detailed reports.
• Maintain updated HSE documentation as per UAE local authority standards (Dubai Municipality/Civil Defence).

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety.
• Certifications: NEBOSH IGC is mandatory. IOSH Managing Safely or OSHA 30-hour certification is a plus.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in the UAE (Construction or Facility Management background preferred).
• Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE Federal Labor Law and local safety codes.
• Strong communication skills in English (Hindi/Urdu is an advantage for worker training).
