We are looking to expand our team with this role in support of a government client.

The Role:
Avani is looking for a Junior HR Specialist to support federal retirement and benefits services. This role is ideal for early-career HR professionals eager to learn and grow while supporting critical HR functions.

Responsibilities

• Review and process employee health and life insurance requests

• Assist with retirement application preparation and benefits documentation

• Maintain organized HR files and support case management

• Provide administrative support and respond to employee inquiries

• Contribute to both short-term and long-term HR projects under senior guidance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

• Up to 3 years of HR or administrative experience

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong oral and written communication abilities

• Due to contractual requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration. Employment is contingent upon the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS background investigation/security clearance.
