About Us

Trendy Surfaces is a premium tile, slab, and surface supplier with showrooms in Orange County and a dedicated slab gallery. We offer a curated selection of porcelain, natural stone, hardwood, mosaics, and slabs—serving both residential and commercial projects with a strong focus on design, quality, and innovation.

The Role

This is a client-facing, sales-oriented growth position where design meets real-world application.

You will work closely with our Showroom Managers, supporting daily operations while learning and developing into a full Design Sales Consultant.

As part of our team, you will:

• Support showroom managers with client interactions and daily operations
• Serve as the first point of contact for clients, delivering a high-level showroom experience
• Assist with quotes, orders, and project coordination with accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain showroom presentation and organization
• Follow up on leads, quotes, and ongoing projects
• Build and nurture relationships with interior designers, architects, builders, contractors, and homeowners
• Track and report on sales pipeline, opportunities, and customer inquiries
• Participate in outreach, industry events, and networking opportunities

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1–2+ years in customer service, sales support, or design-related field (interior design or building materials preferred)
• Mindset: Motivated, eager to learn, and interested in growing into a sales role
• Communication: Clear, professional, and confident with clients and team members
• Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Technical Skills: Microsoft Office required; QuickBooks is a plus
• Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout the showroom
• Education: High school diploma required
