Job Summary:

The Junior Interior Designer supports the design team in developing creative, functional, and visually appealing interior spaces. This role involves assisting with concept development, space planning, material selection, and the preparation of design documentation and presentations. The ideal candidate combines creativity with technical precision and has a keen eye for detail, style, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing interior design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
• Prepare detailed drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite).
• Support in selecting materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
• Source and coordinate samples with vendors and suppliers.
• Participate in client meetings, take notes, and assist in preparing design proposals.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained through project execution.
• Assist in creating cost estimates, budgets, and timelines for interior projects.
• Maintain project documentation, design libraries, and sample materials.
• Visit project sites to support the implementation of design solutions and ensure quality control.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of professional experience in interior design or related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and materials.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Portfolio showcasing design and technical skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with 3D visualization tools (e.g., Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray).
• Familiarity with sustainable and ergonomic design practices.
• Basic knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and construction documentation.

Work Environment:

• Office-based with occasional site visits.
• Collaborative, creative, and fast-paced team setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
