Junior Interior Designer – Responsibilities

1. Design Support

Assist senior designers in creating design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.

Prepare 2D drawings, space planning layouts, and basic working drawings.

Support in creating 3D visualizations (SketchUp/3ds Max/any preferred software).

2. Client Coordination

Join client meetings, take detailed requirements, and prepare notes.

Assist in preparing design proposals, material boards, and revisions based on client inputs.

3. Material & Vendor Coordination

Visit markets/stores for material selection – laminates, veneers, fabrics, lights, tiles, etc.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for samples, pricing, and availability.

4. Site Coordination

Visit site regularly and prepare basic site reports.

Assist in supervising ongoing work as per drawings and ensuring workmanship quality.

Communicate site updates to senior designers and contractors.

5. Documentation & Drawings

Prepare BOQs, measurement lists, and project documentation.

Maintain organized project folders and design files.

6. Project Execution Support

Assist in preparing timelines and work schedules.

7. Research & Trend Awareness

Stay updated on new materials, trends, and design ideas.

Share fresh concepts and innovative solutions during internal discussions.

8. Administrative / Team Support

Manage design-related communication between teams.

Help in organizing client presentations, sample kits, and project documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
