Role Overview

The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and presenting interior design solutions for residential projects, ensuring a seamless journey from design brief to execution. The role requires strong design thinking, attention to detail, client-facing communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, the sales team, and the execution team.

This role is ideal for designers who want to shape premium homes, deliver practical yet beautiful spaces.

Key Responsibilities1. Client Requirement Gathering & Concept Development

• Participate in initial client meetings with the sales and senior design team.
• Interpret client needs, lifestyle, and preferences into a structured design brief.
• Develop concept boards, mood boards, and initial layouts.

2. Space Planning & 2D Drawings

• Create furniture layouts, zoning plans, MEP considerations, and detailed 2D drawings.
• Apply LVNG’s 6-stage design framework to ensure a structured and premium output.
• Optimize functionality across kitchens, wardrobes, bedrooms, living areas, and more.
• Ensure all designs follow technical constraints and practical site considerations.

3. 3D Visualization & Design Detailing

• Develop realistic 3D renders that communicate the final look and feel to clients.
• Work with internal/external renderers when needed, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Create detailed design packs including:
• Material boards
• Finish schedules
• Modular detail drawings
• Loose furniture specs
• Hardware & accessory selections

4. Client Presentations & Revisions

• Present design concepts to clients clearly and confidently.
• Explain the design rationale, material choices, workflow, and functionality.
• Incorporate client feedback while maintaining aesthetic and technical coherence.
• Work closely with sales to align project budgets and expectations.

5. Coordination with Execution & Project Teams

• Prepare complete GFC (Good for Construction) drawings for execution.
• Align with the project manager and site engineer to ensure design accuracy.
• Conduct site visits when required to check measurements, progress, and quality.
• Collaborate with vendors, modular factories, and the operations team for seamless execution.

6. Material, Finish & Product Knowledge

• Stay updated with the latest trends in laminates, veneers, paints, hardware, lighting, and interior products.
• Recommend appropriate materials based on client use case, budget, and durability.
• Maintain sample libraries and finish boards for client presentations

7. Quality Control & Documentation

• Ensure all designs meet LVNG’s quality benchmarks.
• Maintain proper project files, checklists, revision logs, and documentation.
• Follow timelines strictly and ensure deliverables are submitted as per project schedule.

Skills & RequirementsEducation & Background

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience designing residential interiors.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray/Enscape, or other rendering tools.
• Knowledge of modular kitchen and wardrobe systems.
• Ability to create detailed drawings for production and execution.
• Strong understanding of space planning, color, materials, and interior styling.

Soft Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
