JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

ROCHA Design Studio is a boutique interior design studio based in Pacific Palisades, California, specializing in high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Interior Designer who is eager to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who can support the design team while also taking ownership of assigned projects with accountability, attention to detail, and strong design sensibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings in AutoCAD based on architectural plans and site measurements, including construction documents, furniture layouts, and millwork details
• Develop SketchUp models and produce renderings from CAD drawings
• Create mood boards, presentation materials, and client-facing design documents
• Assist with sourcing materials, finishes, and furnishings in alignment with project direction
• Support project coordination and documentation throughout all phases of design

Qualifications:

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Prior experience in a design firm, luxury retail, or high-end furniture environment preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
• Hand sketching and rendering skills are a plus
• Interest in hands-on installation and field experience preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
