Junior Interior Designer

Anaiyva is a hospitality design firm specializing in hotel projects, delivering exceptional spaces that combine creativity, functionality, and brand alignment. We are seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join our Houston team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer with strong AutoCAD skills and a passion for hospitality design.

Position Overview:
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. The Junior Interior Designer will work closely with our senior design team on hospitality projects, contributing to space planning, construction drawings, interior design concepts, and FF&E selections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior designers and clients to understand project requirements, design preferences, and brand standards.
• Use AutoCAD to produce detailed floor plans, elevations, and construction drawings.
• Assist in space planning, material selection, and FF&E specification.
• Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and sample boards.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Support project management tasks, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Stay informed on hospitality design trends and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (intermediate to advanced level required).
• Bachelor’s degree/Associate's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Knowledge of space planning, architecture, and construction documentation.
• Understanding of FF&E selections and hospitality design standards.
• Strong creative problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
• Experience with 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Houston, TX.
