Junior Interior Designer/CAD Drafter

Looking for someone to:

Help clients with new build, renovation and remodel home designing utilizing Auto CAD, SketchUp and other drafting/design programs to create as-builts, schematics, 3D renderings and construction plans to take projects from sale to design to build. Experience and skills in design and drafting are needed for this position.

The following are the skills, abilities and responsibilities expected of this position:

- Responsible for creating, revising and finalizing schematics, renderings and plans by coordination with the design team and engineers, meeting with clients and understanding client’s needs and wants for design and construction projects, helping in design meetings, coordinating across company as needed.

- Responsible for ensuring designs have been fully understood and turned into workable schematics, plans and renderings for use to sell the company's services and to be fully ready for turn over to the Construction Division’s Project Management team.

- Must have strong Auto CAD experience.

- Must have Sketch Up, Vray and 3D rendering experience.

- Must have experience with creating MEP plans and elevations.

- Understanding and/or experience with local building codes and engineering would be a big plus.

- Familiarity with a variety of design styles: classic, Spanish colonial, modern, Key West, craftsman, industrial, etc. is a big plus.

- A love for custom, high-end-luxury homes, an eye for quality and aesthetics are great pluses.

- Must have excellent communication and comprehension skills.

- Must be capable of staying organized and self-running, reporting daily and weekly updates to clients and executives.

- Must be able to use a computer, Office, Google Workspace and able to learn new programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
