Junior IT

We are looking for an experienced Junior IT with a strong IT background for software houses. The role involves managing networks, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and implementing new technologies to improve business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users, resolve hardware and software issues, and assist with IT-related inquiries.
• Monitor and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Manage and maintain servers, ensuring they are up-to-date, secure, and running efficiently.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company data, including antivirus, firewalls, and regular backups.
• Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems as needed.
• Diagnose and resolve system, network, and application issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
• Maintain detailed documentation of IT processes, systems, and configurations.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on new software or technologies and provide guidance on best practices.
• Track and manage IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and warranties.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6months to 1 year of experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, or macOS environments; strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols; experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
