Junior IT Auditor *** Entry Level ***

We Are Seeking

We are looking to fill one Junior IT Auditor position. The Junior IT Auditor performs cybersecurity / IT security audits including, but not limited to, internal vulnerability assessments, external penetration tests, cybersecurity / IT general controls reviews (based on FFIEC/GLBA requirements) and social engineering assessments (phone, email, in-person). This is a "remote" position with approximately 10% travel.

Progression

Typical (sample) career progression is as follows. Junior IT Auditor (Initial) ($40,000 per year) -> Associate IT Auditor (1 year) ($50,000 per year) -> IT Auditor (3-4 years) (60,000+ per year) -> Senior IT Auditor (Variable).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and complete IT audits including policy reviews, general controls reviews, firewall reviews and prepare draft and final reports for clients.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other team members regarding security assessments such as Social Engineering, Penetration Testing, and Vulnerability Assessments.
  • Contribute to the entire engagement process, from providing technical assistance to sales department to report delivery and follow-up.
  • Maintain knowledge of information cyber security areas, trends, and standards.
  • Frequent travel to client sites to perform onsite testing and auditing.
  • Assist in developing new processes and procedures to improve the audit and assessment process.

Miscellaneous

  • This position does require potentially some travel (under 30%) involving either car or air travel.
  • We are a professional audit firm; as such, formal attire is required at all times when working with clients; or while offsite, formal demeanor.
  • Professional and enthusiastic communication skills is a must.
  • Our clients are financial institutions. Background checks may be performed. The candidate must not have been convicted of any crimes of dishonesty or moral turpitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
