Entry-Level Data Analyst / Analyst – Upen Group (DFW Area)

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX

Overview

Upen Group is seeking an Entry-Level Data Analyst / Analyst to support data analysis, reporting, and business operations across ongoing projects. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with foundational experience in SQL, Excel, and data visualization who are looking to grow in a data-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

• Write and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, and analysis
• Use Excel for data cleaning, validation, and analysis (pivot tables, formulas)
• Assist in building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
• Support recurring and ad-hoc reporting requests
• Identify trends, inconsistencies, and data quality issues
• Document reporting processes, data definitions, and workflows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Data Analytics, Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field)
• Foundational knowledge of SQL
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation)
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
• Understanding of basic data concepts (KPIs, reporting, data quality)
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
