Junior Lighting Technician - Filming

• Assist in the setup and operation of lighting equipment for live events, recordings, and productions
• Collaborate with senior technicians and designers to understand lighting design concepts and their implementation
• Maintain and troubleshoot lighting equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Participate in pre-production meetings to discuss lighting needs and technical requirements
• Support the teardown and storage of equipment after events or productions
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance lighting techniques

Required Qualifications

• Experience in a lighting role for theater, film, or live events
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices
• Exposure to various lighting technologies, including LED and intelligent lighting
• Basic understanding of lighting equipment and techniques
• Familiarity with lighting control software and consoles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced setting

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

• Understanding of DMX and lighting control systems
• Experience with basic rigging and lighting setup
• Familiarity with CAD software for lighting design
