Junior Magento Frontend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Magento 2 themes according to design and functionality requirements.
• Convert Figma/PSD designs into responsive, cross-browser compatible Magento templates.
• Utilize Magento Page Builder and CMS tools to create and manage dynamic content.
• Implement and maintain frontend best practices for performance and accessibility
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of dynamic content.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving frontend standards and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and fix layout, styling, or functionality issues on Magento storefronts.
• Optimize frontend performance and page speed for better user experience and SEO.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, and responsive design.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and DOM manipulation.
• Familiarity with Magento 2 theme structure, layout XML, and template files.
• Hands-on experience with Magento Page Builder, CMS blocks, and widgets.
• Experience converting Figma/Adobe XD designs into Magento-ready themes.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of page speed optimization technique
• Experience using GIT and collaborative version control workflows.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge or hands-on experience with Hyvä Themes, Tailwind CSS, .
• Experience customizing Hyvä templates and components.
• Basic understanding of Magento GraphQL (used in some Hyvä integrations).
• Working with Hyvä Checkout or customizing it for Magento 2 stores.
• Page speed optimization using Hyvä’s performance-first approach.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• A proactive learner who stays updated with emerging frontend trends and Magento improvements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
