Junior MEP Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will support design, coordination, and execution of MEP systems on building and infrastructure projects, working closely with senior engineers, site teams, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing MEP designs, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate MEP engineering activities between disciplines (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Support site execution and installation supervision to ensure compliance with designs and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates, material take-offs, and support quantity calculations.
• Use AutoCAD / project software to prepare technical plans and documents.
• Inspect and troubleshoot MEP systems, assist in resolving technical issues.
• Ensure health, safety, and quality standards are upheld on site.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates with internships are welcome).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office; familiarity with Revit MEP or other BIM tools is a plus.
• Good understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and under minimal supervision.

Preferred

• Experience on construction sites.
• Knowledge of local Qatar standards / Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
• Valid Qatar Driving License.
