Junior Network Engineer - Remote
Location: Remote, India. Need flexibility to work shifts to cover 24x7 support.
12-Month Contract | Hourly rate: $4.51 USD

Your Impact

Provide foundational support to ensure network stability across a global company with offices worldwide.

Monitor network gear and SaaS services**,** manage incoming alerts, and perform initial triage for network‑related issues.

Assist with network maintenance activities, including patching, upgrades, and performance optimization.

Support key network technologies such as Cisco Meraki switches, wireless access points, firewalls, routers, GlobalProtect VPN, and Portnox.

Monitor services and alerts for network gear and perform initial triage for network/SaaS platform issues.

Manage ticket queues, including ticket creation, updates, and escalations.

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across offices for troubleshooting and remediation.

Contribute to documentation and knowledge‑base articles.
Your Experience

Basic understanding of network infrastructure and network monitoring principles.

Strong desire to learn and gain hands‑on experience with Cisco Meraki, GlobalProtect VPN, and Portnox.

Experience maintaining ticket queues and handling ticket escalations.

Exposure to IT operations management (ITOM) software that monitors and alerts on IT infrastructure—including network devices, servers, and applications.

A team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Flexibility to work a shift schedule that supports 24×7 operations; may include participation in an on‑call rotation.

Reliable internet connection for this remote‑support role.

BA or BS degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
