Junior Network Technician

Description:

Oneida Technology Services (OTS) has an immediate opening for a Junior Network Technician at the Vandenburg Space Force Base in California.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists engineers and technicians with the placement of infrastructure components, pre-configuration.
• Performs tasks involving physical labor at the installation site to aid daily operations.
• Assists in the movement of equipment, racks, boxes, and pallets.
• Assists in the cleanup and restoration of facilities to pre-install conditions.
• Dispose of waste materials.
• Performs site preparation and implementation activities required to implement the approved ISP/OSP solution.
• Assists in the installation of ISP/OSP cabling, installation of racks/cabinets, and equipment.
• Follows processes and procedures as provided by management or lead engineers.
• Performs cable dressing, labeling, and documentation.
• Assists in restoration activities to return the site to previous condition before project work.
• Tracks task status to provide updates to management or lead engineers.
• Work is performed under supervision.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Experience: High School diploma or associate degree with 3+ years of applicable experience

Specific Skills: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds;

Clearance: Secret

Compensation Range: $24-25/ Hour + Benefits
