Job purpose

Our client is seeking a Junior Operations Officer to play a critical role in supporting the efficient functioning of the operational activities within the organization. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will assist in coordinating various operational tasks, ensuring smooth workflow, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the operational processes. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different departments.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Administrative Support
  • Assist in handling administrative tasks related to operations, such as data entry, filing, and documentation.
  • Maintain organized records of operational activities and transactions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations as required by the Operations Manager.
  • Process Coordination
  • Collaborate with different departments to facilitate smooth execution of operational processes.
  • Monitor workflows and identify areas for improvement in operational efficiency.
  • Assist in implementing new processes or modifying existing ones to enhance productivity.
  • Communication and Liaison:
  • Serve as a point of contact between different departments for operational matters.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on operational objectives.
  • Liaise with external partners or vendors as needed to support operational activities.


Skills & Experience (essential to any successful application)

  • Previous experience in an administrative or operational support role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
