  • Educate patients on proper eye care practices, lens care, and the importance of regular eye examinations to promote eye health and prevent vision loss.
  • Perform specialized testing, such as visual field testing, retinal imaging, and optical coherence tomography (OCT), to aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of eye conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting examination findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient progress using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including ophthalmologists, primary care physicians, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry through continuing education, professional development activities, and participation in relevant conferences and workshops.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions to ensure a positive patient experience and build trust.
  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams, including refraction, binocular vision assessment, and ocular health evaluation to diagnose vision problems and eye diseases accurately.
