A well-established, national full-service law firm seeks to hire a junior partner for its growing NYC office (attorneys expected in the office three days per week). The role would involve a diverse mix of commercial litigation matters, with significant focus on distressed lending, breach of contract, transportation, and defamation cases. The position requires expertise with Manhattan Commercial Division litigation.

The partner joining the firm would work closely with an NYC partner and collaborate with partners from other offices around the country. The firm seeks a litigator with excellent strategic thinking skills and an understanding of how to effectively manage Manhattan Commercial Division and other complex litigation matters.

Salary would be $400,000 or more and depends on class year and experience. Bonus for partners is discretionary. I have close, long-standing ties with a partner at the firm’s NYC office with whom the person in this role would work closely.
