Job Summary:

The Procurement Assistant supports the procurement team by handling daily purchasing activities, supplier coordination, documentation, and follow-ups to ensure timely availability of materials and services for company operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in preparing Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO)

· Send RFQs (Request for Quotation) to suppliers and compare quotations

· Follow up with suppliers for delivery schedules and order confirmations

· Coordinate with site, store, and accounts departments for material requirements

· Maintain records of purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices

· Track pending orders and update procurement status reports

· Support vendor registration and maintain the supplier database

· Check delivery notes against purchase orders and report discrepancies

· Assist in stock monitoring and documentation

Required Qualifications & Skills:

· Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management

· 1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing (construction industry experience preferred)

· Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems

· Good communication and follow-up skills

· Organized and able to handle multiple tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
