Our Senior Property Manager leads the way, and we’re looking for a sharp, experienced Junior Property Manager to work alongside them, sharing the load, owning key responsibilities, and growing into even more.
This is a near-peer role with real responsibility from day one and a clear path to senior management for the right person
What you'll do:
Work closely alongside the Senior Property Manager, support day-to-day operations, and step up as a trusted second-in-command
- Own key owner/tenant communications: deliver timely updates, reports, and insights to property owners/tenants with professionalism and clarity
- Take point on conflict resolution and escalations while handling tenant and owner disputes with composure
- Assist the maintenance department (as needed) by helping with escalated maintenance situations and overseeing inspections end-to-end
- Oversee administrative flow by being aware of renewals, move-ins, move-outs, and compliance
- Anticipates needs of the team and potential issues and prepare accordingly
- Maintain accurate records, create appropriate documentation/notes, and communicate support to the owners and the team to increase confidence and operational efficiency
- Gradually take on greater portfolio ownership as trust and experience grow
- Assist with the leasing pipeline (as needed) by entering guest cards, following up with prospective tenants, coordinating with the leasing agent, and supporting the application process through to completion
Who you are:
- Solid hands-on experience in residential property management: you’ve been in the field, and you know how it works (Experience with Appfolio/Monday.com is a plus)
- A near-peer level professional ready to operate with significant autonomy alongside a Senior PM
- An exceptionally high threshold for conflict resolution with owners, tenants, vendors: you handle it calmly, decisively, and thoroughly with experience in de-escalation
- Highly efficient and organized: you manage competing priorities across multiple properties without losing your edge
- A clear, confident communicator who can represent the company professionally in every owner/tenant interaction
- Detail-oriented across all departments: nothing slips through the cracks on your watch
- Ambitious and growth-minded: you see the path to Senior PM and you’re actively working toward it
- Florida real estate license and extensive knowledge on Florida Laws and best practices related to property management
COMPENSATION
$48,000 – $62,000* annually
