Overview

ChicMic Studios is looking for an experienced Associate Python Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Django, Django Rest Framework (DRF), AWS, SQL, and backend security. Hands-on experience with payment gateway integration, microservices, Redis, Celery, and WebSockets will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and scale web applications using Django & DRF.
Implement and manage payment gateway integrations with secure transaction handling.
Design and optimize SQL queries, transaction management, and data integrity.
Work with Redis and Celery for caching, background jobs, and task queues.
Deploy and manage applications on AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation).
Implement security practices: CSRF tokens, SQL injection prevention, JWT authentication.
Build and maintain microservices for scalable solutions.
Develop real-time applications using WebSockets (chat rooms, notifications).
Ensure robust application testing through unit testing and automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–4 years of experience as a Python Developer.
Proficiency in Python, Django, DRF.
Strong knowledge of SQL queries, database optimization, transaction management.
Experience with payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, etc.).
Hands-on with Redis, Celery, distributed task management.
Solid knowledge of AWS services for deployment and management.
Good understanding of security practices (CSRF, JWT, SQL injection prevention).
Exposure to microservices, WebSockets, and real-time communication.
Experience with unit testing and writing clean, maintainable code.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and team collaboration skills.
