Junior QA Tester (Manual & Automation)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior QA Tester with strong manual and automation testing skills. This role is ideal for someone passionate about software quality and eager to grow in a fast-paced development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, write, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression and smoke testing
• Log detailed bug reports in Jira with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis
• Analyze software performance and provide feedback for improvement
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality

releases

• Contribute to QA process improvements and documentation
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools and best practices
• Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of QA experience (manual and automation)
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus
• Proficient with tools like Jira, TestRail, Postman, Selenium, or similar
• Ability to write comprehensive test cases and maintain clear documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
