Job Title: Junior Quality Analyst
Department: Pharma Manufacturing Unit
Qualification: B.Pharm / M. Pharm
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
Job Summary

The Junior Analyst will support routine analytical operations in the Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) department, ensuring that all raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products comply with regulatory standards. The role demands strong analytical skills, understanding of GMP guidelines, and hands-on experience with standard laboratory instruments used in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control (QC) Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and stability samples.
  • Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, FTIR, Dissolution Apparatus, and pH meters.
  • Conduct physical and chemical testing following approved SOPs and pharmacopeial standards (IP/USP/BP/EP).
  • Record data accurately in laboratory notebooks, LIMS, or electronic systems as applicable.
  • Assist in method validation, calibration activities, and instrument qualification.
  • Ensure timely reporting of analytical results and deviations.

Quality Assurance (QA) Responsibilities (if applicable)

  • Support documentation review, batch manufacturing records (BMR/BPR), and compliance checks.
  • Assist in internal audits, change control processes, and CAPA implementation.
  • Review SOPs, protocols, and controlled documents as per GMP guidelines.
  • Participate in deviation investigations and ensure proper documentation.

Skills & Competencies

  • Solid knowledge of GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements such as WHO, USFDA, MHRA, or EU standards.
  • Hands-on experience with modern analytical instruments.
  • Strong documentation and data integrity practices.
  • Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory software tools.

Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety procedures and proper laboratory etiquette.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production, QA, QC, and R&D.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts if required by the manufacturing schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,086.00 - ₹30,284.76 per month
