Junior Research Analyst

Role overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Research Analyst to join our Dubai investment team. In this role, you will provide fundamental research and investment support across different asset classes, while contributing to the team's analytical capabilities and client-facing materials.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide the investment team with fundamental research and investment ideas on different asset classes by summarizing macro reports, analysing companies' balance sheets and financial statements.
• Prepare financial documents/reporting for presentation to potential and current investors on specific investments.
• Build, maintain and improve the company's database and financial models.
• Participate in regular calls/meetings with the investment team and clients.
• Support the investment team in miscellaneous tasks.

Skills and competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics. CFA is a plus.
• Business finance or other relevant experience.
• Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills. Bloomberg terminal experience preferably.
• Comfortable with financial modelling techniques. VBA and other programming languages such as Python a plus.
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills/market research.
• Passionate about investments. Trading experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
