Junior Research Scientist

About the Role

Nuvex Biotech is a growing R&D-focused CDMO working across pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and functional health products. We are seeking a Junior Research Scientist to support formulation development, analytical testing, and day-to-day laboratory operations. This role is ideal for candidates who want to develop strong technical skills in a professional biotech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in formulation development, sample preparation, and pre-formulation studies.
• Perform analytical testing under supervision, including HPLC (preferred), UV-Vis, dissolution, and wet chemistry.
• Maintain accurate experimental records, lab notebooks, and documentation.
• Conduct stability studies and support method development activities.
• Follow lab safety guidelines, SOPs, and basic GMP/GLP practices.
• Support senior scientists in ongoing R&D projects and lab organization.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutics, or related field.
• HPLC experience is strongly preferred (academic or industry).
• Basic understanding of analytical techniques and formulation principles.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
