A "Safety Junior Engineer" is an entry-level position within civil engineering, primarily focused on ensuring safety protocols are followed during construction projects by performing site inspections, identifying potential hazards, and assisting in implementing safety measures, while also supporting the overall design and execution of civil engineering projects under the guidance of senior engineers; their responsibilities may include reviewing plans for safety compliance, conducting safety training for workers, and documenting safety concerns on site.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Immediate Joiners are Preferred

  • 1-3 years of experience in construction safety or related field (NEBOSH certification preferred).
  • Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent qualification required; NEBOSH certification an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO 45001).
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to train workers effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Basic understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and drawings
  • Strong observation and analytical skills to identify potential hazards
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey safety concerns and instructions to workers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of relevant safety equipment and procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
