Junior Safety Officer

Job Title: Junior Safety Officer
Location: Construction Site – UAE

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Safety Officer to support the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices at our construction site. The candidate will work closely with the Safety Officer/Engineer to ensure compliance with site safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing site HSE policies and procedures
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and report unsafe conditions
• Support toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions
• Ensure proper use of PPE by all site personnel
• Maintain safety records, checklists, and incident reports
• Assist in accident/incident investigations
• Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure safe work practices
• Monitor housekeeping and general site safety compliance

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• NEBOSH IGC / IOSH or equivalent safety certification
• 0–2 years of experience in construction safety (freshers may apply)
• Basic knowledge of HSE regulations and construction site activities
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work on-site and follow instructions
• Knowledge of UAE safety standards is an advantage
