Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Junior HSE Officer to support the implementation and maintenance of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across our operations. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and company safety policies while promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments for various activities.
• Monitor workplace activities to identify unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective actions promptly.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment, tools, work areas, and safety systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain incident, accident, and near-miss reports, including recommendations for preventive measures.
• Maintain accident and incident logs with accurate documentation and records.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and on-the-job safety training for employees and contractors.
• Ensure proper housekeeping standards and waste disposal practices are maintained across all work areas.
• Monitor environmental aspects and support initiatives related to environmental compliance.
• Organize and conduct emergency preparedness drills and fire evacuation exercises.
• Inspect and maintain records of fire extinguishers and other emergency response equipment.
• Assist in developing and implementing safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Complete weekly safety inspections and coordinate findings with relevant departments for corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain all HSE documentation in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Coordinate with government authorities such as Civil Defense and other regulatory bodies for HSE-related approvals and compliance matters.
• Support permit-to-work processes and ensure adherence to safety requirements.

Qualifications & Experience Education

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• NEBOSH Certification is plus

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Safety Officer within the UAE.
• Experience in employee safety, fire prevention, accident prevention, and incident management.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per year

Work Location: In person
