Junior Sales Representative

Diagnostic imaging centers (MRI) in search of a junior radiology sales representative to manage physician accounts and grow volume. Will be responsible for managing a territory to promote several MRI centers. Will report to the Regional Sales Manager and help develop the sales plan for assigned territory to meet and beat budget expectations. Sales experience preferred but not required. Ideal candidate will be looking to start their sales career in a junior role with the desire for career advancement. Healthcare background a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily visits to current and prospective referring physician offices
• Manage a specified territory of referral sources
• Coordinate and carry out the required number of daily sales calls
• Gain familiarity with and utilize proprietary CRM on a daily basis
• Utilize trend reports to identify changes and take action
• Assess the needs of referring physicians and patients as well as monitor the effectiveness of any implemented changes
• Review marketing plans for assigned territory
• Responsible for completing monthly expense reports under the supervision of their Regional Sales Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues in adjacent territories as part of a larger network of MRI centers in NY
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Sales experience preferred but not required. Willing to train the right candidate
• Associates degree required but bachelors preferred
• Ability to learn various sales strategies and to implement on a daily basis
• Knowledge of radiology, MRI, and diagnostic procedures a plus
• After hours availability preferred for account maintenance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Effective time management
• Customer support experience

Education & Experience:

The above knowledge, skills, and abilities may be demonstrated by a college degree or a related field with related sales experience, preferably within the healthcare industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
