We are seeking a driven Junior Salesforce Administrator to join our team in supporting our nonprofit organization's constituent management departments. The Salesforce Administrator will work closely with our Finance, Development, Volunteers, President’s Office, and Digital Growth teams. The successful candidate will provide first-level admin support, including delegating support cases, troubleshooting, user training, and user provisioning.
This role executes the day-to-day configuration and optimization to support the organization’s fundraising and marketing goals and processes, including management of third-party integrations, support, and maintenance of the Sales Cloud with Nonprofit Success Pack and Marketing Cloud. The role responds to user questions and issues, performs data analysis and runs standard & customized reports, and collaborates with the users to automate business functions and maximize Salesforce capabilities.
This is a hands-on, highly visible position totally engaged in RMH-NY’s Fundraising, Marketing, and Volunteer management strategies. The role reports to the Senior Salesforce Director.

Responsibilities:

Administer Sales Cloud with Nonprofit Success Pack, existing third-party integrations (digital donation platforms, sign-in software, wealth screening and modeling, volunteer management software, Salesforce Labs packages), and implement new integrations.

Administer Marketing Cloud and its Sales Cloud (Salesforce CRM) integration.

Provide Salesforce admin support and troubleshooting for all Salesforce users in the organization.

Handle all first-level internal support cases; manage and monitor escalated cases.

Collaborate closely with Finance, Development, Volunteers, Digital Growth, President’s Office teams, and external vendors.

Work with the Donor Support Specialist to perform data management tasks, such as batch uploads, exports, and updates using Salesforce Data Loader and NPSP Data Import Batches

Customize Salesforce objects, screen flows, record types, page layouts, fields, apps, tabs, security, and users based on business requirements.

Maintain and enhance data management areas, including contacts, leads, campaigns, cases, dashboards, and reports.

Perform unit testing and defect fixes, ensuring system stability and functionality.

Stay current with Salesforce releases and corresponding documentation and provide new functionalities and solutions as needed.

Continuously improve support processes, automate manual processes, and increase self-service capabilities.

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the organization's business processes, reporting requirements, and data quality.

Perform data quality assurance and cleanup tasks, identify and resolve missing data, fix data entry errors, and manage duplicate records.

Design, generate, and distribute advanced reports and dashboards using Salesforce and related tools for internal and external use.

Participate in cross-functional teams addressing strategic planning, program changes, and immediate needs.

Ensure the organization maximizes efficiency and capitalizes on the full features and benefits of Salesforce NPSP and Marketing Cloud

Attend team and department meetings assigned and organizational events as appropriate.
Qualifications and Competencies:

Salesforce Administrator certification preferred

Experience in Marketing Cloud or strong SQL knowledge

A minimum of 1 year of experience working within a non-profit preferred.

Administrator experience with Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, or an equivalent system required.

Able to design and develop business solutions leveraging Salesforce declarative programming and administration (custom objects, reports, workflows, assignment rules, flows), working with the stakeholders to define requirements, build, test, UAT, and implement.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience.

Strong customer service orientation

Focused on data integrity and quality control, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Capacity to train staff in foundational data entry techniques and use of CRM tools to develop reports and create dashboards.

Experience working in a client-facing role.

Willingness to further enhance knowledge by taking Salesforce certification exams

This job is located in the same facility where RMH-NY provides temporary accommodations to pediatric patients and their families while the patients are undergoing active medical treatment at area hospitals. For some RMH-NY guests, medical treatment may include radiation therapy. While radiation therapy is never administered at RMH-NY, there is the potential for some radioactive material to be present in guests who have undergone radiation therapy. Based on radiation measurements performed throughout RMH-NY, it is not expected that individuals working at RMH will receive radiation doses that would exceed the general public limit (100 millirem per year).
