Junior Service Engineer (Generator)

Job Responsibilities:

• Install and commission Diesel Generator (DG) sets at client sites.

• Independently manage complete installation and commissioning activities when required.

• Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance of DG systems.

• Identify and troubleshoot engine, alternator, and control panel issues, including advanced fault diagnosis.

• Attend emergency breakdown calls and ensure quick resolution of technical problems.

• Conduct load testing and evaluate overall performance of generator systems.

• Handle AMF/ATS panels and synchronization systems efficiently.

• Carry out engine overhauling, including both top and major overhauls.

• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.

• Provide technical assistance and maintain professional communication with clients.

• Guide and supervise junior engineers during field operations.

Requirements:

Education:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or

• BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in DG installation, servicing, and maintenance.
