Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Shopify Developer to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of our Shopify website. The ideal candidate has a good grasp of Shopify fundamentals, is eager to learn, and can work closely with designers, marketers, and operations teams to improve site performance and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining Shopify stores
• Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Implement UI/UX changes provided by design teams
• Configure and manage Shopify apps, integrations, and settings
• Help with product uploads, collections, filters, and navigation
• Fix basic bugs and support ongoing website improvements
• Optimize website performance and responsiveness
• Assist in testing new features before deployment
• Coordinate with marketing teams for campaign-related updates (banners, landing pages, promotions)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Shopify platform & admin
• Working knowledge of:
• Shopify Liquid
• HTML5, CSS3
• Basic JavaScript / jQuery
• Familiarity with Shopify themes and app ecosystem
• Understanding of responsive design
• Basic knowledge of Git or version control (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and take feedback

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with Shopify Plus
• Knowledge of SEO basics and site speed optimization
• Experience with page builders (PageFly, Shogun, etc.)
• Understanding of e-commerce workflows (orders, payments, shipping)
• Prior retail or e-commerce industry exposure
