Junior Site Engineer

Job Title: Junior Site Engineer – Construction Contracting

Location: Kerala

Experience: 0-3 years in construction site execution, preferably in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

Salary: [As per industry standards]

Job Responsibilities:

1. Site Supervision & Execution:

Assist in monitoring day-to-day site activities under the guidance of senior engineers.

Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.

Support in supervising structural, finishing, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works.

2. Project Coordination & Planning:

Assist in preparing work schedules and tracking progress.

Coordinate with subcontractors, site workers, and suppliers for smooth execution of tasks.

Participate in site meetings and document work updates.

3. Quality & Safety Compliance:

Support quality control measures to ensure construction meets required standards.

Conduct basic site inspections and report any deviations or safety concerns.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.

4. Material & Resource Management:

Assist in monitoring material usage and maintaining stock records.

Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.

Help optimize labor and equipment utilization.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain daily site reports, logs, and other documentation.

Assist in preparing work inspection and approval documents.

Report site issues, delays, or risks to senior engineers and management.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Basic knowledge of building or infrastructure construction, including RCC, masonry, and finishing works.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and construction-related software is an advantage.

Willingness to learn and work under senior engineers’ supervision.
