Who You Are

You’re a socially fluent, curious, and creative individual with a hunger for learning. You understand the dynamics and ongoing changes of platforms like Instagram and are chronically online, spotting trends and cultural moments that resonate with audiences. You’re eager to contribute ideas, support content creation, and grow your skills in storytelling, production, and social media strategy.

You’re a team player who can take direction, contribute to brainstorms, and execute simple social-first content independently. You are building your swipe folder, observing what works, and learning how to translate pop culture and brand strategy into scroll-stopping social content.

What You’ll Do

  • Social-First Content Creation – Alongside the team, produce platform-native content using tools like CapCut and Canva, creating simple videos, static posts, and graphics aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Trend & Cultural Awareness – Monitor social trends and pop culture, contributing relevant insights to team brainstorms and internal presentations.
  • Ideation & Storytelling – Support creative sessions by building moodboards, gathering references, and developing concepts under guidance.
  • Copywriting for Social – Write clean captions, hooks, and short-form copy that aligns with brand tone and voice, with support from senior team members.
  • Production Support – Film lo-fi content independently using a phone for Instagram stories and assist on shoots where possible
  • Creative Reference Management – Maintain a growing folder of social creative examples, analysing what makes content effective, always sharing references with the team internally of great work
  • Data & Performance Awareness – Track basic social KPIs such as reach, engagement, saves, shares, and short-form video retention; learn to differentiate brand vs. performance objectives and help pull together reports

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in social media content creation or digital storytelling.
  • Understanding of social-first platforms (TikTok, Instagram, X) and what drives engagement.
  • Comfortable using CapCut and Canva for content creation
  • Ability to contribute ideas to brainstorms, work on ideas for content each month by pulling references
  • Able to be client facing, and respond to their requests where appropriate
  • Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and willingness to learn from feedback.
