Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Quality Assurance Engineer with 1.5 to 2 years of experience in manual and database testing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of QA methodologies, with a particular focus on database testing and the quality assurance of Power BI reports and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for database components, including data validation, data integrity, SQL query verification, and backend process testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.

- Perform in-depth quality assurance for Power BI dashboards, reports, and underlying data models, validating data accuracy, visual presentation, functionality, and user experience.

- Develop clear, concise, and thorough test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on functional and non-functional requirements.

- Ensure adequate test case coverage across all features and functionalities, including positive, negative, and edge cases.

- Execute various types of manual tests, including functional, integration, regression, exploratory, UAT, cross-browser, and mobile application testing.

- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using bug tracking systems and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.

- Assist in creating and maintaining QA documentation, including test summaries and defect reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

- 1.5 to 2 years of hands-on experience in manual software quality assurance.

- Proven experience or strong foundational knowledge in database testing, including writing SQL queries for data validation and verification.

- Experience in testing Power BI reports, dashboards, or other Business Intelligence tools, with an understanding of data visualization and reporting concepts.

- Demonstrated expertise in test case development, test plan creation, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

- Familiarity with various testing methodologies and software development lifecycles (SDLC).

- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Salary Package :

Salary Range 50,000 to 72,000

Negotiable salary as per sound experience & Skills

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs72,000.00 per month
