Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Quality Assurance Engineer with 6 months - 1 year of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products by designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers to deliver high-quality releases.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and backend applications.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps).
• Perform regression testing, smoke testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve defects and ensure smooth release cycles.
• Develop and maintain QA documentation, including test cases, checklists, and reports.
• Participate in sprint planning and contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) improvements.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Must have 6 months - 1 year of experience.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Cypress, Selenium)
• Familiarity with APIs and testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
