Junior SQA Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Conduct detailed manual testing, particularly for complex and new features.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team by identifying gaps in processes and implementing best practices.
• Work closely with project managers, developers, to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and QA processes. Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in software quality assurance
• Proficiency in manual and automation testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
