About the Role

International Fitness Alliance (IFA) is a fast-growing fitness education and wellness company raising the standards of health and fitness across the Middle East. We are seeking a Junior Accountant to support the Sales and Management teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting or finance graduate who is eager to learn, take initiative, and grow within an entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working closely with leadership to manage day-to-day financial operations and support new business projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Issue and track client invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations.
  • Manage client accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Track and categorize company expenses and reimbursements.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities for upcoming projects and programs.
  • Prepare basic financial reports for management review.
  • Assist in VAT filing preparation and coordination with auditors.
  • Research and support applications for local ministry or funding programs (e.g., Tamkeen).
  • Help prepare documentation for audits or compliance submissions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree and/or Certifications in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Up to 1–2 years of accounting or internship experience preferred (recent graduates welcome).
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, ZohoBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of VAT filings, financial reporting, and audit procedures preferred.
  • Strong MS Excel skills (data entry, reports, and simple formulas).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge or interest in Islamic Finance is a plus.
  • Must Currently Live in Bahrain.
