�POSITION PURPOSE

Manage instrumentation system and equipment maintenance to achieve top quartile

performance in safety, productivity, and cost efficiency for AGI & terminal operations.

Ensure availability, reliability, and long-term integrity of instrumentation systems for

uninterrupted operations. Provide guidance and support to junior staff.

�SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Education: Degree in Instrumentation Control or Electronics Engineering, or Diploma in

Instrumentation Control/Electronics. Experience: Degree with minimum 10 years or

Diploma with minimum 12 years of relevant experience in instrumentation maintenance in

petroleum pipeline and terminal facilities, refineries, petrochemicals & fertilizer sectors.

Additional Skills:

 Strong knowledge of ICS, ESD, PIDS, OFC, FGS, PLCs, PMS, telemetry, field

instruments, valve actuators, and SPM instrumentation.

 Familiarity with DCS/SCADA systems.

 Good communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

 Ability to recognize risks, hazards, and losses and implement corrective/preventive

actions.

�PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Plan and manage instrumentation maintenance activities across fields and terminals.

 Operate, maintain, trial, and test instrumentation systems including ICS, ESD, PIDS,

OFC, FGS, servers, communication systems, PLCs, PMS, telemetry, F&G

detection/protection systems, Fire Fighting System, field instruments, valve actuators,

and SPM instrumentation.

 Ensure proper functioning of equipment and perform routine checks and maintenance

tasks.

 Carry out preventive, predictive, proactive, corrective, breakdown maintenance, C&E

verification, asset integrity inspections, condition monitoring, and refurbishment

work.

 Calibrate field instruments (pressure, temperature, level, flow, density, viscosity

transmitters, actuators, valves, control valves, tank farm management systems, oil

accounting instruments).

 Conduct CTM instrument calibration including W&M stamping of meters, weighing

scales, weigh bridges, custody transfer meters, gas chromatographs, and auto

sampling systems.

 Troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

 Prepare, review, and revise instrumentation documents (SMP, SMS, GMS, C&E,

alarm trip summary, task lists, drawings).

 Ensure PTW (permit to work) compliance as Area Authority/Performing

Authority/Instrumentation Isolating Authority, including LOTO (isolation, de-

isolation, tagging, de-tagging).

 Provide support to operations team as needed.

 Schedule instrumentation maintenance activities and establish priorities for safe and

efficient operations.

Work-site Activity

 Perform calibration, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance across

instrumentation systems.

Communication and Information

 Liaise with maintenance teams, operations, and third-party surveyors for smooth

execution of tasks.

Safety

 Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO, and HSE standards.

 Maintain documentation and records including log sheets, checklists, DPR, MIS,

calibration records.

Coaching and Developing

 Mentor junior staff, provide training, and encourage development beyond core skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹1,675,000.00 per year
