Junior Technical Designer - Zamalek

Company Industry: Architecture and Interior Design Studio

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop technical drawings, plans, blueprints, and specifications under the guidance of senior technical designers
• Ensure technical documents accurately reflect design concepts and comply with industry standards
• Research and source materials, finishes, furnishings, and equipment aligned with design intent and project budgets
• Assist in creating detailed technical specifications, including dimensions, materials, and construction methodologies
• Collaborate closely with senior designers, architects, project managers, and contractors to support smooth project execution
• Communicate technical requirements and help provide solutions to design and coordination challenges
• Participate in quality control processes and support site inspections to identify discrepancies between design and implementation
• Assist in liaising with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain quotes, review materials, and ensure timely delivery
• Prepare and update detailed BOQs and organize technical documents for ongoing and future projects
• Support senior team members during on-site inspections and prepare comprehensive site reports with observations and updates
• Work with project managers and senior designers to understand budget considerations and help identify cost-efficient solutions
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in technical design within relevant studios
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, MS Office; familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, or 3D tools is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to grow technical and construction-related skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Enthusiasm for learning, collaborating, and contributing to project success

• Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Zamalek – Cairo
