Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Technician to join our team. The Junior Technician will assist senior technicians in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of [equipment/systems/vehicles]. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with foundational technical knowledge who wants to grow their skills through hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of [specific equipment, e.g., electronic systems, machinery, HVAC units, vehicles].
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Use basic hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment under the supervision of a senior technician.
• Read and interpret basic schematics, blueprints, or technical manuals.
• Document all repairs, parts used, and labor time accurately in the service log or system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, complying with all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding equipment status and potential issues.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve technical skills and product knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QualificationsEducation & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Completion of or enrollment in a technical trade school, vocational program, or associate degree in [relevant field, e.g., Electronics, Mechanics, IT] is preferred.
• 0–2 years of hands-on technical experience (internships or relevant coursework accepted).

Skills & Abilities

• Basic understanding of [electrical/mechanical/electronic] principles.
• Familiarity with common hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina (ability to lift up to [50] lbs, stand for extended periods, etc.).

• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for up to 8 hours per day.

• Comfortable working in [specific environments, e.g., confined spaces, elevated areas, extreme temperatures, loud noise] with provided PPE.
