Junior Videographer

Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor located in North Wales, PA, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. Position Summary

We’re looking for a creative and motivated Junior Videographer to support the production of engaging video content across marketing, social, and brand initiatives. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone who is passionate about storytelling, eager to grow their technical skills, and excited to be hands-on in all aspects of video production.

You’ll work closely with the creative and marketing teams to assist with filming, editing, and content execution.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production Support

  • Assist with filming video content, including setting up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Support on-site and in-studio shoots, ensuring smooth execution
  • Help with shot setup, framing, and basic camera operation

Editing & Post-Production

  • Assist with editing video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and internal use
  • Organize and manage raw footage, assets, and project files
  • Add basic cuts, transitions, audio adjustments, and simple motion graphics

Content Creation

  • Capture behind-the-scenes footage and supplemental content
  • Contribute ideas for video concepts and storytelling approaches
  • Support quick-turn content creation for social platforms

Equipment & Organization

  • Maintain and organize video equipment and production gear
  • Assist with studio setup, breakdown, and general upkeep
  • Ensure files and assets are properly stored and labeled

Qualifications

  • Sony camera systems experience
  • 0–2 years of experience in videography, media production, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and audio setup
  • Familiarity with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics
  • Familiarity with social media video formats and trends
  • Basic color correction and audio editing knowledge
  • Photography skills or experience

Portfolio Requirement

All candidates must submit a professional portfolio of work demonstrating video, photography, branding, and campaign execution for consideration.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:


This position is based in a manufacturing environment and may require the following over extended periods of time up to a full 8-hour work shift (excluding lunch and breaks): stand, walk, sit, squat or bend, kneel and rise, lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to — and occasionally exceeding — 50 pounds, view a computer or other digital screen, work on a computer, workstation or comparable system, and make accurate entries in such systems. Manual dexterity and fine motor skills are required for detailed assembly and precision work. Work may take place in areas with varying temperatures or no climate control, varying noise levels, and production equipment in motion. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in designated areas at all times as required by company policy. Reasonable accommodations may be available to enable individuals with disabilities but are always subject to safety concerns for the employee and all team members. Employer may require a physical assessment of the candidate’s ability to perform these tasks as a condition of an offer letter.
